Want a great steak at a great price that's worth whatever it takes to get there? Well, then this is NOT the place for you!!
The wife and I were rather excited to go here... we were meeting with a large party with our car club and heard a lot of good things about it. We heard wrong :-( Overall the meal was "OK" but that's as far as I would go.
This place is basically a hole in the wall, rustic, 1950's kind of place - kind of a nice atmosphere really - with branding irons and other old west items around the walls.
I won't comment on the wait staff as they were running like crazy with 25 or so people in one party but that cannot excuse the quality of the food. Our entrées were at most decent. The prices were about the same as you would get at an Outback or similar steakhouse. The steak was rather bland and over cooked in parts (one half was done more than the other), the chicken fried chicken tenders appetizer had watery gravy, greasy under cooked fries, and actually came out AFTER our meals.
Was it worth an hour drive? Absolutely NOT!!
