Are you looking for a little excersise? Then rent a U-Haul truck and do your own moving. It will save you tons of cash and it will help you stay in shape. If something breaks along the way you won't be able to blame anyone but yourself either.
You can go by almost any U-Haul truck rental facility and rent one usually without an appointment or any advance notice.
It's great because you can use one to move locally or drive it across country and drop it at one of their locations in the new city you are in
