Review content:
Dr. Carolyn Rodgers is a very good ob/gyn. I chose to visit her when I was expecting my son. My husband and I had just moved to Salisbury, I knew no one, and was expectingmy first child -- I was nervous and felt so alone!
From the moment I walked in to the office, the staff made me feel more at ease, and were so helpful. The nurse who took my basic info was super-sweet, and Dr. Rodgers really made me feel so at ease.
Her bedside manner is top-notch. She knew how nervous I was, and that we had just moved to the area, and she took the time to address my concerns and offer helpful tips and advice. She really took the time to make sure that I was going to be prepared!
When my son was delivered, her medical practice partner was the one who delivered my son, however I again saw Dr. Rodgers the next morning in the hospital and throughout my prolonged stay, as well as for my follow-up appointments.
I was very impressed that though she was not there for the actual delivery, she knew exactly what happened (more than the basics of birth, lol) -- she spoke with her partner to learn how the delivery went, what problems/issues I had.
I had to stay in the hospital longer than usual (5 1/2 days) due to complications, and she was there every day, and didn't just look over the chart -- she seemed to have a personal interest.
The follow-up appointment was impressive too -- she took the time to ask how things were progressing as a new mom, how my newborn was doing, etc.
I would still be a patient if we hadn't moved out of state. I highly recommend her!
