Businiess name:  Total Wine Bar
Review by:  Nicole F.
Review content:
Total Wine Bar focuses on offering interesting classic wines in a relaxed atmosphere. Owner Adam Robertson gave the petite bar a New Orleans feel in honor of his hometown. The interior’s exposed brick walls and rich wood bar appeal to the neighborhood aesthetes. For a unique wine, try the Cantina Medici Ermete, Lambrusco ($7 per glass, $24 for a bottle). This chilled Italian red is mildly effervescent--a perfect treat on a warm evening. Another option is the Maretima Rosata Salento ’03 ($7/$20), a strawberry colored rosé that is soft and round. The eclectic menu has a Creole flair. Robertson’s favorite dish is the crawfish etouffé ($10), a rich spicy concoction topped with puff pastry.
