Review content:
After a hard day at Lime Rock race track, we almost always head for the Boathouse for a good meal and a glass of cheer. The menu is ambitious considering their location - 125 miles from NYC and even more miles from Boston and Albany. So it's always a pleasant surprise when you find good fish dishes, respectable beef, well cooked vegetables and attentive service in what could be called an out of the way little town. My steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes seasoned perfectly and served hot. One odd feature is the pair of scissors that come with the outstanding French onion soup - to cut through the cheese, sil vous plait!
With a couple of drafts, my bill was $50 and well worth it.
