I love the Village Inn. They have a great breakfast and offer a huge variety of things. I love that I can get grits and all kinds of southern type breakfast dishes which the Village Inn does offer. It is all good and reasonably priced.
For lunch and dinner they do have really good burgers among other things. And the pies! I usually buy an entire pie and take it home with me. It's cheape than buying it by the slice. My husband loves cakes and pies so it goes fast. They even have the freuquent pie buyers club. Buy so many pies and you get one free. I never got that far as I do bake a lot of pies but the Peanut Butter Pie at The Village Inn is to die for. I also have to say as far as all of the places that offer breakfast on St. Pete Beach, The Village Inn puts all of the other places to shame. If you are vacationing on the beach and want a good cheap breakfast I recommend the Village Inn. Stay away from the other places I think you will be disappointed. I know I was very disappointed with a few places on St Pete Beach. ie the Ihop is terrible, I can't think of that other place. It has a huge yellow sign. I've seen them all over the country. They usually are good but not on St Petes beach they aren't. Waffle house thats it. I usually like that place as well. The one on the beach there I do not care for at all. Just an FYI for the tourists. I'm from up North and I love good food.
