Review content:
My husband and I visited this agency with the intention of buying an auto insurance policy. We had previous email interaction with the primary agent and in comparison, the prices were low enough for us to go with Allstate. We scheduled a meeting where we were ready to sign and pay.
When we arrived the AGENT had nothing but attitude for us. Specifically, his words were; "I don't care about anyone's insurance policies" and "I don't screw around, either you want the policy or you don't. And if you don't, I don't care." We had simple questions which any other insurance agent would have happily answered. Apparently, the price we were quoted was a basic price and if we wanted to do something "fancy", like pay the entire policy year in one lump sum payment, then we would have to go with a different level of service tacking on $34 more dollars to our low quote.
This may be a problem with AllState, but there was no need for the agent to behave in such a condescending and basically rude manner! Not only that, but we had to hear yet again that he's been in this business for over 30 years. Well, Mr. McKinney, maybe it's time to retire??
If you like your auto insurance with a side of beration and a chunk of attitude, this is the place to go...If not, then I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for better service. Needless to say, we walked out and went elsewhere.
