Review content:
The specials at the Red Fox are incredible deals. For $5.50-ish you can get, depending on the day, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, a roll and vegetables; or spaghetti with garlic bread; or two pork chops with all the trimmings just to name a few.
The specials are excellent. Ordering off the menu is a little different story. The burgers are good and the chicken sandwich isn't bad but it could use some help (a special mayo sauce or something like that would help).
The sirloin steak is always a good deal and the flavor is great.
The wait staff here is efficient and pretty easy on the eyes.
Paying your bill at lunch is a bit of a hassle. You have to stand at the bar where the wait staff drops off and takes drink orders that the bartender fills. The bartender also serves as the cashier. This is all next to the kitchen window so it's incredibly congested and you can't avoid being in the way of someone at every turn.
Bottom line: Excellent lunch specials and service but get there early, it's usually a huge lunch crowd.
