Review content:
After a head on collision, I was left with a very swollen and damaged spinal
cord (C-5) so I spent 3 - 4 days per week in physical therapy at this rehabilitation center. The rehabilitation plus narcotics and spinal cord injections were a program that I had to follow for almost 2 years. A big part of
my treatment involved massage and heating pad treatments. Those two in
combination were successful in alleviating some of the pain while I was at
the rehab but within hours after I left, the pain would return. They also taught
me exercises that I could do at home.
