Review content:
My review is based on one grade of lower middle school. The school itself is fine. My issue is more with the "social" aspect of this school. I think it stems from the fact that if you look at the ratios at RRCA, there are a lot of ONLY children enrolled here. Get ready to get involved and DO your kids homework because basically your kid is competing against stay-at-home moms (and grandma/grandpas). They do their kids homework and will do ANYTHING to get their kid front and center. A complete child-centered mentality reigns among some of the moms and grandparents of this grade. These same moms are very cliquey and make a point of excluding other children from extracurricular events. It's a little sad because you spend a lot of money to have your kids in a Christ-centered environment, and these moms have made sure our experience has been pretty far from that. There is also a shocking under current of mean-spiritedness. Other grades may be fine so it may just be an issue with this one particular grade that we are a part of. Check this place out thoroughly so you know what you're getting into and protect your kid. Unfortunately, you'll need to waste a lot of time on things that don't matter except to a bunch of meddling stay-at-home hens.
