This man is supposed to be an expert with kids, but let me tell you, my daughter was 4 and did not want him to use a thin stick to roll her upper eye-lid to examine her eye. She resisted so vehemently, and the doctor just kept saying that she had to do it and if she didn't cooperate that her mother was going to spank her (he said this with me sitting right there). Of course, I suggested he not tell me how to raise my child, and told him I would not be thrilled at the thought of him rolling my eyelid up, so he needed to either take a different tactic, or skip that part of the exam. He skipped it, and told me I was allowing my child to dictate how thorough he could be, and basically told me he would not be responsible for what he might have missed because of not being able to do that part of the exam. About 2 weeks later, he was doing my mother's cataract surgery, and nicked a vein behind her eye and could not complete the surgery. She ended up having to have another cataract surgery (which she got done by another surgeon) and we have never been back.
