... in my opinion. So there. ;-) Years ago, I listened to the Tom Leykis and Howard Stern radio shows; because, really...there wasn't anything else on the radio to listen to (besides music) while doing my computer work. Okay, at times, they made me laugh, but most of the time, I would feel negative, irritable, and just yuck-ky for the rest of the day after listening to those guys. One day I picked up a free newspaper at PCC and saw an ad for Contact Talk Radio (a morning show on KKNW). I switched my radio from FM to AM and found the 1150 station on my dial. Well, I may be exaggerating a bit when I say it changed my life. Ever since then, I never went back to the bitter, cynical boys' shows, and my stress level dropped. Coincidence? Nah, I don't think so. From 7-8:00 am there's Conscious Talk with hosts Brenda Michaels & Rob Spears. From 9-11:00 am there's Contact Talk Radio with Cameron & Lucia Steele, and other hosts. From 11-12:00 pm there's Dr. Pat (Crustbusting) Bacilli. She's wonderful. After noon Positive Choice Talk Radio comes on with different "info-mercial" type, but educational shows. My very favorite is the Advanced Wellness hour with Mary-Lee Calmes; she's an acupuncturist in Bellevue. I always learn something interesting from her about alternative health and healing. Schedules, people and shows are always changing on this station, so it never gets boring. Just check it out.
