We don't usually frequent McDonald's, but one night, after watching Supersize Me no less, my husband just had to get a double cheeseburger. It wasn't terribly late, about 10 pm, and there weren't many people at the restaurant. There was one car ahead of us in the drive thru, and it took them a really long time to get their meal. It took so long, we turned the car off in the intervals of waiting for the car ahead of us, and then in turn, waiting for our meal. Probably close to 20 minutes total (what happened to their 30 second drive thru?). Seeing as we had to wait so long, you'd think our meal would be fresh....but alas, the fries were cold and the hamburger had probably been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. Given that, we probably won't be going again any time soon!
