I walked into Modern Concepts salon just looking for a decent trim. In this otherwise sleepy little shopping plaza, on Ashburn Road, I was surprised to find an Energetic, Hip, yet Elegant atmosphere with hairdressers that had just moved from a popular and highly rated, Washington area salon. My experience started with a great consultation and I recieved a great fresh new look. One stylist from London, Martin, only does color. I went back the following week for a multi tone highlight. I have never had such exquisite color. Not even during my 7 years in Manhattan. Make your appointments in advance though, this salon is going to be hopping.
