Businiess name:  Hong Kong Bbq Restaurant

Review content:
Hong Kong flavor in Castro Valley vs Oaklands China town - This dive in the wall was once a KFC and that skeleton remains is clear to note as you look for this fine Hong Kong style restaurant. On Redwood Rd in Castro Valley near downtown, this Hong Kong BBQ diner is amazing for its authentic flavor and great prices. The place is full of local Asians from Hayward and Castro valley - that flag is always a positive sign that the food is great and pleases the local small Asian community in the Castro Valley area. I had the BBQ Pork over rice and the Five Spice Chicken over rice - both done very basic and presented simple.. the flavor explodes with that authentic edge. The menu is complete with all the basics.. but come to this Asain spot for the real flavor of old Hong Kong BBQ that you can only find better in Oaklands China town. The prices are great and the portions as plenty - The service is very friendly.. before you sit down at your table you are handed a bowl of soup with the menu. Friendly folks and that amazing feeling from the hanging ducks and sound of the huge chopping knife in the back.. slicing up BBQ Duck and Chickens Its not the best looking place -- but the food continues to bring me back time and time again.
