From a man's point of view I have to say I am a little skeptical of going into any business that offers Brazilian waxing and hot rock treatments. You see, I am a red-meat eating, Heavy Metal and Classic Rock listening too, 2nd amendment loving, camouflage wearing Texan; symbolic of Ted Nugent. None the less, the cold days of growing a beard and sitting in the dear blind are over. It is the beginning of summer and I needed to remove the fur from my chest and arms. Because I am a man amongst men, I decided to head to a local salon and have my hair ripped from my flesh. I decided to go to Facial Express by Marlene and was very pleasantly surprised by the staff and facility. The place is very clean (I would eat off of the floors clean) and the employees are very polite and easy going. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. I had my own personal, private, and comfortable room. I was helped by Ashley and Marlene. Both of them explained what they were doing before they did it and in no time, my chest looked like that of Fabio himself. It really did not hurt all that bad either. They offered soft drinks and snacks and I could even watch a movie while getting de-furred if I wanted. It was definitely as painless as body waxing could possibly be. The best part is that I am still hairless a week later. And to regain all of my masculinity, after walking out of the door, I walked next door and treated myself to some freshly smoked cow and a beer from David's Barbecue. This, by the way, cost less than half what they have charged me 2 blocks away at Sheltons.
