Review content:
Alex and I wandered over to Gameworks one night after dinner downtown. Actually, I dragged him while he wondered if it would be worth it to venture out so far in the cold.
Gameworks is a high tech video arcade. They have classics such as Galaga and Pacman, as well as some of the latest games. There are games in which you move--Alex and I played one where we were white water rafting, and the machine simulated the turns and bumps, as well as a rather fun one in which we physically shot up to thirty feet in the air to mimic actions that we were doing on this huge screen. There are also skill and ticket games, such as skeeball, basketball, and virtual baseball.
Minors are booted out at 10 PM, which helps ease gaming anxiety. We had fun, but we got bored after a while. But it was a good step back in time.
