Review content:
I really like the Olney Ale House. It's another Olney restaurant in an old converted house, but the seating is still fairly well arranged. The food is a good eclectic mix, with excellent burgers, homemade bread, and a house tahini salad dressing that I can't pass up. They also serve vegetarian burritos, steak, and fried catfish, if I remember correctly. Everything I've had there has been from very satisfying to great.
My only problem is that they're stopping some of their weeknight promotions. That's their right, but a few restaurants in Olney have made weeknight promotions a fixture for years, and it's very disappointing that the Olney Ale House is ending theirs.
It's right across from the Olney Theatre Center for the Arts, so watch out for the pre-theater crowd.
