Review content:
I ate here many times between when it opened and when I left Prattville and always had an excellent experience. The food is always good, but the best thing is Jose's visibility. I almost always saw him visiting with his customers, delivering food, etc. Once he even sat down with a couple of buddies and me to shoot the breeze for a few minutes (it was a slow crowd that night on account of the Prattville football game at Stanhope-Elmore) and was joking that I didn't look 21 (I had a beer with my meal). Another time with my parents, my dad asked about certain peppers and Jose went back into the kitchen, brought out some pepper seeds for my dad to plant. It's been a couple of years since I've eaten there now so I don't remember specifics on food (other than always enjoying what I had there), but those two experiences with Jose really stick out in my mind.
