On Saturday 4/29/06 Horizon Cleaning deep cleaned, sanitized, and applied teflon to the 3 rooms of 1 1/2 year old, light gray carpeting in my home. Contrary to the advertised price of $35.00 for steam cleaning, I paid a total of $351.00.
The next morning I noticed large dark brown spots on my carpeting (which were not there prior to the *cleaning*) -- in particular a 12"x12" dark brown square in the middle of my living room -- where the technician had performed a test sample. I immediately contacted the company and left a voice message expressing my concerns. No call back. Two days later the entire carpet was spotted with large brown marks and an overall brown hue -- it looks worse than before the carpet was *cleaned*. I have called the company almost daily and managed to speak with the "Quality Control" person twice -- nothing has been done to rectify the situation, not even to schedule an appointment to look at the carpeting.
Needless to say, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
