If you're looking to have your kids involoved in Karate then definitely check out East Taunton Kenpo Karate. The instructors are wonderful with young kids, they get down on their level and really teach them, not just martial arts but life skills. They work on body awareness, muscle coordination and strength. The kids have fun while learning. Activies include obstacle courses, games, group discussions, skill development plus much more. My child is part of the Little Dragons program, they earn special patches each month (health, fire safety, etc). My son also recieved a special patch just because he got a good not sent home from his teacher for his behavior in class. They really motivate the kids to try to do their best. They are never critical but rather praise the strengths and work on the weakness. Dollar for dollar you will not find a better deal in town.
