I've used them exclusively since the mid 1970's. I don't get the other review that seems glowing but only gives them 3 stars. I use the Picket St. location but it's the same family management and quality service. My father found them and thought they were the best and used no one else until he moved Florida. They worked on my 69 Barracuda until I bought a new 86 Mustang GT. In more than 30 years I only had one problem. They rebuilt the Mustang transmission when it 8 or so years old. Something went way wrong, I don't remember what. They redid the work and charged me nothing for the whole job. I've slowed down a lot the last several years but I used to take the Mustang to it's limits anytime I could find a stretch of road that let me. The transmission has never given me any more trouble in about 15 years. They'll give you a prioritized list of things that need to or should be done, but they will tell you if you don't mind a small oil leak or water leak, you can skip something they were suggesting. They will suggest fixing everything properly, but let you do only what is needed to keep a car running reliably and safely. I don't expect to ever use anyone else for car work whether I keep the Mustang indefinitely, or eventually have to get something new.
