Businiess name:  Piece Brewery & Pizzeria
Review by:  John S.
Review content:
Piece is trying to help fill the horrendous void that is Chicago brewing these days, and is unfortunately falling very short. Of the four beers I've had there, 1 was pretty good, 2 were mediocre, and 1 was just bad. I want to like local brew pubs, so I'll try again someday, but so far I have to say their beer stinks. Their pizza, on the other hand, is fantastic. I'll make the wild claim that they make the best thin crust pizza in Chicago, and then offer no evidence to support that claim. I think the atmosphere is supposed to be a sort of Bavarian-beer-hall-meets-sports-bar, but it ends up kind of being a zoo. It's crowded and expensive, and presumably trendy, because I don't think it's beer lovers that are showing up in droves. I'll give the place 3 stars, two for their pizza, and one because they brew their own beer. Hopefully my next Piece beer will be better.
