Review content:
We came to town from the Waterloo area to see John Mellencamp at the US Cellular center. With kids in tow at my sisters, we decided to try to get a hotel in Cedar Rapids instead of driving back home.
We went on Collins Road and checked the prices of a few hotels, but I was not willing to pay over $100 a night for just a few hours in the room.
We then turned on 1st Ave and spotted the Quality Inn. I had stayed at this hotel when it was a Country Inn, so we pulled in and they had rooms for $59.99. I took it and off we went to a great concert!
Like I said, we were only there for about 6 hours as we had to get up and pick up the kids, but were we surprised by the great breakfast that was available. Belgium waffles and the typical assortment.
The pool and hot tub looked small, but for the price, I would recommend it to anyone!
