Review content:
I had come to this establishment once or twice before and hadn't had a problem; however, I'm not sure if it changed management. I went to get a pair of my nice boots stretched a little. I thought it was a little pricey when he said it was $*, but I wasn't sure where else to go and hadn't had problems the time before. Well, when I picked up my shoes 2 days later, the inside of one of the shoes was completely stained, had a cut in the sole, and were a little scratched up on the outside even! I showed the owner what happended and asked why, but he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do. There was no policy hanging up inside, on the receipt, or one that he told me about, so he refused to reimburse me for something that permanently messed up my shoes. Finally, he said he could give me half back ($4), and as we continued to converse, he finally said, "You either take the $4 or leave right now." Needless to say, I will NEVER go back there and would never encourage others to go there to avoid any mishaps with your shoes.
