Review content:
Metropolitan Plant and Flower Exchange is a popular nursery/florist located in Saddle Brook along Route 17 in New Jersey. On the southbound side of Rte. 17, you'll have to slow down to enter the parking lot--or risk having to go too far to turn around at the next exit. When you see McDonald's, it's the next business on your right. MPE has a wide variety of blooming flowers, plants, trees and other related items for your garden and home. This place gets VERY busy in spring as folks can't wait to get perennials and annuals to put in their yards. They have a wide selection of plants (both pots and flats) and you can roam their outdoor "backyard" in search of what you'd like to have in your garden. Beginning around Easter, you'll see the hanging planters out front and the early spring flowers. Once late April, look out because they are exploding with plants and flowers just begging to be taken to your home (or someone else's). You can overbuy here because the selection is so great! Indoors you can find loads of healthy plants for every environment. Potting soil, plant food, trellis, garden gloves and tools are all here. Beautiful floral baskets can also be purchased here as gifts. Parking can be a little tight especially on busy weekend mornings.
