Review content:
I went to Kitchen K for lunch today with a group from work. It's a convenient walk from our office, like many downtown eating places. The atmosphere is pleasant; with the big windows in front letting in light and interest.
Our waiter was nice, friendly, but perhaps just a tad over-the-top with the playfulness. Nevertheless, he seems to know what he's talking about when it comes to recommending dishes. I ordered the turkey club, which turned out to be one of the better sandwiches I've had in a long time, and came with addictive "real" potato chips. But the waiter talked one of my companions into ordering the Cuban enchilada. I tried a bite and it was absolutely divine. We had desserts too and they were excellent. Maybe a bit guilt-inducing, but excellent.
Really the prices are quite reasonable for the area and considering the food is so good, I would highly recommend Kitchen K.
