Peace Industry offers oodles of fantastic modern and traditional style rugs that are as affordable (considering how they are made), as they are head turning beauties. My favorites are from their Melina Raisnnia felt collection, a collaboration between master Iranian felt-maker, Asghar Aliyari, and painter, Melina Raissnia. Each rug is handmade using natural shades of wool and vegetable dyes. You can visit them while in San Francisco at their brick and mortar shop located at Hayes Valley at 535 Octavia @ Ivy just north of Hayes street, close to the new park. Hours are Mon, Wed-Sat 11-7. Sun 11-5. Closed Tues. Phone: (415)-255-9940
or visit them online at: http://www.peaceindustry.com/
