The DC-area does not have much in the way of authentic Mexican food, but this is a fun Tex-Mex joint. Housed in a "blah" shopping strip, the waitstaff here is usually accomodating and pleasant (young college-age types), and the food is fresh and well-prepared. I am a big fan of their simple but very delicious black beans (so much better than those usually gloppy refried beans, and better for you too). There's not much in the way of atmosphere here, but it's a good casual place to meet up with freinds or take the kids.
