Review content:
Grand Rapids was the boyhood home of the 38th president of the United States Gerald Ford. Despite being the only person to serve as Vice President and President without being elected to either, he also has the distinction of having several things around the area named after him.
Interstate 1-96 is named the Ford Freeway, the local airport is named the Gerald R Ford International Airport, and his museum is aptly named the Gerald Ford Museum. Located adjacent to the Grand Rapids Public museum, the Gerald Ford museum displays artifacts and exhibits from Gerald Ford’s political career.
For those interested in American politics and 20th century history thereof, this is a pretty interesting collection. Those not interested in politics or the 70’s may be a bit bored by the museum.
