Review content:
My wife and I recently finished a renovation of an 1895 rowhouse in Resevoir Hill.
I am an architectural antiques dealer and was very interested in maintaining the historic character of the house but found it difficult to find contractors who shared our sensibilities and quality standards.
After a number of false starts with other contractors we were turned on to Mr. Machioli.
We not only found him to be personable and professional but also flexible as the scope of work evolved (or "de-volved" depending on your vantage point).
Mr. Machioli helped us lay out historic linoleum patterns in our Retro 1950's kitchen as well as execute tile work in our 1925 bathroom.
The work was tight and any small problems were quickly addressed.
The lion's share of the work performed was outside, where Mr. Machioli helped us reinvent our back yard from scratch.
His work was on time and on budget.
My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Machioli for any residential or light commercial work- it was a pleasure to work with him.
