Yes, you can probably get a giant bag of ugly polyester yarn at WalMart for $5 but what is the fun of knitting with that garbage when you could spend a little more and enjoy the kind of luxury knitting experience that is rocking the nation? Knitters of central Kentucky, the Stitch Niche is for you. Classes in embroidery, cross-stitch, knitting, crochet and more are offered at this comprehensive needlework store. Looking for some oh-so-pleasing-to-the-touch bamboo knitting needles? Look no further, the Stitch Niche has what you need. Cross-stitch patterns, magazines, kits and classes. Hardanger embroidery kits and classes. Knitting needles, patterns, books, accessories, magazines, and shelves and shelves full of specialty yarns of all different sizes, weights, colors and fibers. Stop by the store and ask to be added to their mailing list. You will receive a newsletter periodically with listings of upcoming classes, sales and events, and sometimes a free cross-stitch pattern on the back. Located on Moore Drive, off of Regency Road (or off of Nicholasville Road if that is closer to you).
