Review content:
We had been working with an agent from another company when she showed us our dream home. It was only 2K more than we were approved for, but because of this she wouldn't put in our bid. Saying the owner wouldn't take it. WHAT?
We had received a flyer from Remax agent Russ Patterson so we gave him a call. He went to the house with us one last time, and called the selling agent. They (both) worked out a deal to each take a $500 cut in their commisions, and talked the owner into taking the extra $1000 cut, and we won our bid on the house! Lucky guy probably worked just a couple of hours to make the sale. If only she had done what WE the customer wanted, it would have been hers. *shaking head*. We will return to Russ when it's time for a bigger home.
