Review content:
Budd and Co. isn't the cheapest garage in town but they are quick, reasonably priced and, mostly importantly, straight forward. My experience with Budd and Co goes like this. I call and set up an appointment. They tell me when they can look at it. I bring it in that day, they look at it that day and get back to me that day with a diagnosis and price. This doesn't seem like such a big deal but most repair places just can't do this dance. I think it's irritating when you have to pursue the repair shop to find out when you can get you car back and how much it'll cost you to get it back. The biggest perk of Budd is that they are straight forward. I have never felt like they were trying to up sell any service. I've done a little experiment too and it's not just me. I've sent many people there and they've all been treated well. ...and yes I would send my own mother. The bad news - cars are expensive. This has nothing to do with Budd and Co. but sometimes cars are really broken and really expesnive to fix. Don't shoot the messenger! This is a little lesson that me and my transmission had to work out between the two of us.
