So I was meeting a date to play Scrabble, the bouncer asked for my ID and held my Scrabble board while I grabbed it from my purse, then I sat down. 15 minutes later, I was told by the same bouncer that they don't allow games to be played at their bar. So, I told him to have my food order canceled and that we'd go elsewhere, since the date revolved heavily around playing Scrabble the first time we met. The manager fought with me that I should pay for the food, that I hadn't received yet, since I ordered it. I told him that I never would've ordered it if the bouncer told me in the first place we wouldn't be allowed to play, and in fact, he told me good luck when he handed my board back to me. Then the manager said I'd be 86'd forever. I said fine. Then he wanted to 86 my date, who is a regular there, just for being with me and started to take away his beers-- even though he had paid for them! I think it was a little crazy and overboard over a game of Scrabble. I can't believe the bouncer didn't know it wasn't allowed and the manager acted that way!!
Cons: They booted me out!
