Review content:
The Kentucky Horse Park is a beautiful tribute to Kentucky's thoroughbred horse industry. While at the park, you can tour the International Museum of the Horse, visit famous retired racehorses at the Hall of Champions, see the film "Thou Shalt Fly Without Wings," go on a trail ride or attend educational programs for artists and anyone involved in an equine career. The Horse Park also has a campground, where they have hosted events as varied as a Renaissance Faire to benefit an animal shelter, and the annual summer Festival of the Bluegrass. There are numerous events posted on their calendar online. I recommend the Egyptian Event to any Arabian horse enthusiasts, and the Junior League Horse Show for anyone who likes to see horses do more than just sprint down a racetrack. There is a small cafeteria-style restaurant on the grounds as well. A great destination for both kids and adults, both eductional and entertaining.
