I love Jay's Fish and Chips. I work in Santa Maria and this is a great place to go to on my lunch hour and get something better than fast food. They let you call in an order and you can go pick up some astounding fish and chips for about the same price you would pay for a meal at McDonald's or Jack In The Box. It's a little bit on the greasy side, but not so bad that it interferes with the taste of the fish. They are right on Main Street, so it is convenient and the parking lot makes it easy to be able to get in and get out. This isn't really a place you would want to go for a sit-down meal because they really focus more on take-out, but the food is great if you are getting it to go.
