Review content:
I decided that as a treat to myself I'd go get my hair highlighted. I don't usually do that but on a whim I was able to get in pretty quickly to the JC Penny Salon. I guess I should have known right then. The lobby of the salon makes it look pretty upscale but when you get inside of it, it's just a big room with lots of chairs. Nothing impressive. The woman who did my highlights did a pretty good job actually. It was the cut that really disappointed me. I had pictures and I asked her to give me a bob. Well, she parted my hair, gave it a few quick snips and called it done. She really didn't give me a cut at all. I couldn't believe it. Then in front of me she tried to get the receptionist to sell me products for my hair, I guess they're required to do that but she didn't want to ask me so she made the receptionist. I thought it was just lame over all. I won't be going back.
