Businiess name:  Star Plaza Theatre
Review by:  RICHARD H.
Review content:
We've been to the Star Plaza Theatre several times. The majority of our visits have been for country music acts. We've also seen a few comedy shows. The theatre is very nice. You can pretty much see from any seat. The drawback of this facility is that they sometimes book performers when they are still "small time" and by the time they perform they are "big time" and the place is just too small to hold a big time act. Also, if a performer is a particularly loud performer, the facility is too small to hold the noise properly. We saw Montgomery Gentry there and it was just horrible because they are too loud...you couldn't understand any of the words in the songs. They need to play at places like the The United Center in Chicago or the Star Plaza needs to have better sound for big acts like that. For smaller acts or comedians the Star Plaza is perfect. We saw the Blue Collar Comedy Tour and it was awesome. I give the Star Plaza 3 stars.
