Review content:
Love this Midwest chain. Steak and Shake was the only place open when I first visited Fort Wayne eight years ago. It was 11:00 at night and the town was locked up tighter than a new Scotch drum. Nothing was open. No one was out and about. It was a record freezing cold night in January. The Steak and Shake was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was American Midwest tasty. Eight years later, Steak and Shake is still good. I would recommend the manager reign in the serving staff a bit in the later evening. They yell to the kitchen and throw dishes around. I know it is a diner, but the quiet is nice when eating burgers. Lots of free parking. This is the same location that is listed for Illinois. You must enter into the Meijer parking lot to have access to the restaurant.
