Review content:
I love this place! They are very understanding about pets, and they are not all about the money. Dr. Madriaga is always very helpful with my smooth fox terrier. Eight years ago, my 16 yr. old wire fox terrier, Gunter, became paralyzed and wouldn't eat. I took him to a clinic in Fullerton. They ran a million tests and strung everything out over a week, and when I asked if they thought maybe he needed to be put to sleep, they said, "Well, if you don't care about him..." What an awful thing to say. I was crying and heartbroken over the decision and they were asking, "Do you need more Frontline?"
Any way, I found the La Mirada Clinic and Dr. Madriaga took one look at Gunter and said, "He's not eating; he's suffering." He helped me and my husband make the decision and then we held our dog while he was peacefully put to sleep. Since then, we have trusted Dr. Madriaga with our new fox terrier. Dr. Madriaga is honest, caring, compassionate, and does what is best for your pet! I hope he doesn't retire for a long time!
