Review content:
Good: Waiting rm, responsive physicians, nice office staff, they don't bill you until they bill everything together at the end of the pregnancy.
The physicians were good listeners and seemed very compassionate and intelligent.. Bad: Valerie the OB nurse misinterpreted a test result and told me I had an STD! Two weeks of my life were ruined and she didn't apologize or even act at all remorseful when she found out she was wrong.
She also gave me misinformation about amniotic fluid testing.
She was very unhelpful all the times I spoke to her on the phone.. Improvements: Fire Valerie the OB LPN and get someone who is better-educated or at least more knowledgeable.. Other: I ended up leaving this practice solely because of Valerie and all of my awful experiences with her. It was late in my pregnancy but I couldn't take her anymore!
It might not seem like a big deal to not like the OB nurse if you like the MDs. However, when you call the office, you talk to the OB nurse. All of your interactions other than your appointments are with the OB nurse. She is a crucial part of your OB team. Beware of Valerie!.
