Review content:
Horsemen’s Supply has become my husband’s new favorite place to buy hay for our two small ponies. Hay prices have gone crazy during the long drought and warmer than average temperatures that we have experienced in North Texas during the past year. Horsemen’s Supply has had to raise their prices significantly but they are not trying to rob people like some of the local feed stores. They carry a very tasty (says Sugar and Miss Sassy) 100 lb./ three-string square bale of Costal Bermuda for $16.95 with tax. They also offer a similar size bale of Alfalfa that is reasonably priced.
They are conveniently located on the Fort Worth Hwy. Just a ways down from the locally-famous Malt Shop. I don’t know what their official hours are but they always seem to be open when I need a bale.
Their staff is friendly and quick. They load they hay for you and thank you for shopping. Horsemen’s Supply has an huge line of take and other horse supply needs. I have not bought anything but hay although I can tell that their prices are very reasonable on other items as well.
