Fiddler On The Roof Duct & Chimney service was established in October 1983. Over the years we have grown to be one of the largest, most respected chimney sweep companies in the Los Angeles area.
Fiddler On The Roof provides our customers the most reliable and professional service in the industry. Employees are constantly updated on the newest products and technology. Continuing education is part of our commitment to being on the leading edge of all new developments in the chimney field.
Qualifications include state contractor licenses #536504 and #744118. Classifications held are B1 General, C29 Masonry, C61/D34 Specialty license, C20 Heating and Air Conditioning, and Home Improvement Certification.
Memberships include the National Chimney Sweep Guild and The Golden State Chimney Sweep Guild. Certification by the Chimney Safety Institute of America assures competency and professionalism throughout the industry. To qualify for certification, a rigorous written exam must be passed. Rest assured our company carries full liability, workman's compensation, and auto insurance.
Chimney services include inspections (using the National Fire Protection Association guidelines) utilizing video camera and smoke testing, cleaning, masonry repairs, flue caps-spark arresters, dampers, gas log lighters, water proofing, glass doors, and other accessories.
We also specialize in the installation of wood stoves, inserts, liners, prefabricated fireplace systems and rebuilding damaged chimneys.
In the year 2000 a new product called Thermocrete Ceramic Flue Sealant became available to our customers. Thermocrete is a product applied to the interior of the chimney flue that can restore damaged chimney flues back to fire safe condition. This revolutionary product is the first of its kind to earn approval from Warnock Hersey, the testing laboratory for the industry.
Dryer vent cleaning is yet another service available to our customers.
