Businiess name:  City of Gaithersburg Creative Tot Time
Review by:  Susanne W.
Review content:
In this age of increased emphasis on academics at an ever-earlier age, the City of Gaithersburg's Creative Tot Time program is like a breath of fresh air. Here, three and four-year-olds have the opportunity to venture out on their own, to make new friends, learn new skills, and to... play! There's lots of learning going on, lovingly fostered by the teachers. Families are actively invited to participate, with several field trips offered during the course of the year. Other highlights were Fathers' Night, and the Mothers' Tea (which included grandparents and other caregivers and Very Important People to the children). Families are asked to provide snacks about once per month. The tuition is extremely reasonable, especially when compared to that charged by comparable preschool programs. Classes are led by teams of instructors.
