Businiess name:  Skate Queen
Review by:  Catherine W.
Review content:
Skate Queen is the perfect setting for a teenage slasher movie. You enter into a tiny lobby. The door to the rink is locked. Someone behind glass has to let you in. Now you've made it in and you are in a run-down rink, with stained carpet, old tables, a boring concession stand and some old codger taking care of rentals. You get on the rink, the lights start flashing and the old codger goes up to a booth to call out games (limbo, etc.) and play music you had on 45's. In a movie, this would not end well. Since it is the only skating rink around, we endured our share of birthday parties at Skate Queen. Don't even think of dropping off your middle-schooler there on a weekend evening.
