It really is a unique dining experience like no other! We have enjoyed it many times now and in many different ways. But every time it feels Special. The food is always so delicious with many new and surprising tastes. It's definitely high-end but at surprisingly reasonable prices. The service is friendly - no stiffness. The restaurant itself is beautiful - spacious, modern, lots of wood and lots of glass bringing the outside in. Intriguing fine art thru out and live music really sets the mood. But there's still more because this "gem" is in an equally beautiful setting: Just off the Historic Columbia Highway and the West end of the Columbia Gorge, the Riverview sits along the river amongst towering trees. (The bar was made from one of the trees that couldn't be saved.) It has a huge deck and patio for outdoor dining with nice lighting for after dark and heaters so can keep enjoying even if the temperature drops. It really makes you feel like you are "far away from it all" but actually it is very close. There's also beautiful gardens - we attended a wedding there just recently. Gorgeous! And the food afterwards was so much better than the usual wedding fare! We have now hosted many different events there ourselves. And we will continue to do so. For family events and for business - It's ideal for dinners with clients and for company events. Our out-of-town guests now contact us before their next visit to let us know they'd like to go to the Riverview again! Pros: Consistantly great food, service in unique beautiful setting Cons: none
