Businiess name:  Best Buy

Review content:
I went to help a friend buy a computer today. We checked out CompUSA, Circuit City, The Apple Store, and Best Buy. My friend decided that he would purchase a computer from Best Buy because they truly did have the "best buy". However, their service was sub-par. I suppose that is the cost of a lower price. Not only did the original store we went to have sub-par service, but they sent us in a wild goose chase to two other stores, finally ending at the Everett store. This was the worst service I have ever received. Not only did this employee not seem to care about my friend and his experience in that store, but my friend had cash in hand and the employee shrugged him and his questions off. He claimed they did not have the model that we were specifically sent to Everett to pick up, but he just took off with no explanation only to help another customer next to us a little bit later, with not so much as an explanation. We then took it upon ourselves to find a manager, who ended up finding the right computer and then spent the next hour trying to sell us on their service warranty (supposedly this covers accidental damage). Which, by the way, sucks too. I bought it for a camera and when the camera stopped working I was told that I had dropped it and it wasn't covered under their warranty (when I shared this anecdote with the store employees they didn't seem shocked that I was treated in this manner at a different store and was told that I should have made the 30 minute jaunt to their store). I find myself sickened by these large corporations. Whether their warranty is flawed or their training of employees, I have never had a good experience at them.
