Businiess name:  Kennedy Book Store
Review by:  Aimee F.
Review content:
Kennedy's is a reliable place to get your textbooks for UK, LCC, and some of the other Lexington campuses. They are usually very good about having enough books in stock, and being reasonable on their textbook prices. Everything else in the store is outrageously expensive, however, so save yourself the money and head to Wal-Mart for the school supplies. While you're there, take a walk next door to Kennedy's Art Part. The prices over here are surprisingly reasonable for what you get, and with all the little supplies it's hard to not leave with something. My children love their ultra-detailed coloring books, which are cheaper than any of the Disney coloring books from Wal-Mart. The paper lover will be agog at the variety of handmade paper available in large sheets. If you have a paper lover in your family, spend the couple of bucks and buy a sheet to wrap a few gifts. You won't regret it. As a homeschooling mom (and LCC student) I use this store as a resource for my children's art education.
