Review content:
This is one of the best places in the Erie area! You can enjoy a walk along the wooden bridged walkways or on one of their many trails. They have a wonderful cottage area to view animals, join in on learning about the locally known animals or purchase a few odds and ends to remember your visit. Winter times the cottage offers a wonderful, warm retreat often with a nice fire going in the fireplace. Tons of programs are offered to both members of the Woods and non-members. Memberships are very reasonable and donations are always accepted.
A spring walk lets one enjoy not only fresh buds and beautiful sunshine but when the warmer times hit you can often find a turtle in the pond and hear the frogs croaking.
This is a beautiful and unique area to take your kids to and is enjoyable by both young and old alike. Many great times and serene moments were shared with my children while they were growing up here that I know they will never forget.
Stop in and get more information from them about some of their programs and classes they offer. While you're there, take a walk around the woods.. it's beautiful!
